Ayate - A wonderful, scrubby washcloth. This cloth is woven from the fibers of the desert succulent agave plant. When it gets wet for the first time, the fibers expand and soften. It makes a great exfoliator ... scrubbier than a cotton cloth, but not as rough as some loofas can be. It dries very quickly and is naturally mildew resistent. I rinse mine in water with a few drops of tea tree essential oil added every once in awhile, but you can machine wash if you like. Hang to dry. Approximate size 12" x 12".

Hemp washcloth and handtowel - A beautiful fiber! Hemp is a long lasting, sturdy fiber. It grows quickly and easily without the use of chemicals. I love these products! The washcloth has texture - it is a little scrubby, but not really an exfoliating cloth. The handtowel is soft and very absorbent, with a beautiful knit pattern.

These items do shrink a bit when machine-dried.
